A gym open 24 hours a day, every day of the week, is a solution for shift workers, early risers and anyone who wants to train without the crowds. Below is a list of gyms marked on FitBlizu as open 24/7, sorted by city. This list isn't copied out by hand — it's pulled straight from the map, so when an owner or editor updates the tag, it changes here too.

How a 24/7 gym works

Most 24-hour gyms run without staff outside their regular hours. Entry is by card, code or app, and the space is monitored by cameras. Before signing up, check:

  • How night-time entry works (card, app, PIN) and whether it's included in the membership.
  • Whether new members can enter overnight — some gyms require an initial daytime visit.
  • Safety: a help button, cameras, a well-lit car park.
  • What's closed: sauna, group classes and reception usually aren't covered by the overnight schedule.

Night training: etiquette and practicalities

At night you're often alone in the gym, or with just a few other people, so slightly different rules apply than at 6pm:

  • Rack your weights. With no staff around, nobody re-racks for you; the next visitor will resent you for it, not the gym.
  • Don't train to failure without a spotter. For heavy squats and bench press, use the safety bars on the rack or choose machines instead.
  • Know where the emergency exit and help button are. Ask when you sign up.
  • Check whether guests are allowed in. As a rule they aren't — the card is personal.
  • Report crowding. A crowd report on FitBlizu at night helps the next person decide whether to come at 11pm or wait until morning.

Alternative: extended hours

If there's no 24/7 gym in your city, check the day-by-day schedule on each gym's page. Many open at 5am or 6am and close around midnight, which covers most shift patterns. On the map, click a gym and check the "today" line — it shows today's opening hours when known.

Frequently asked questions

Is membership for a 24/7 gym more expensive? Often not, but some operators charge extra for night access or tie it to a longer contract. Ask before signing up.

Can I get in at night with a day pass? Rarely. A day pass is usually bought at reception while staff are present, and is valid for that day only.

How do I know the 24/7 label is accurate? You'll see the tag on the gym's page along with its source (import, owner, editor). If it's wrong, flag it with a correction — editors review these promptly.

Can't find a gym on the list?

A gym only gets the 24/7 tag once it's confirmed — through an import, from the owner, or from an editor. If you know of a gym that's open 24 hours a day and it's missing here, open its page on the map and click "Suggest a correction". Owners can also edit their own opening hours through the owners' page.

Besides the 24/7 tag, check each gym's day-by-day schedule too: many gyms are open from 5am to midnight, which is enough for most people. Find every gym in a given city on the Zagreb 158, Split 75, Rijeka 63, Osijek 39 and Pula 30 pages.
